What Types of Video Content to Produce for Post-Pandemic

I believe that everyone should know that many things will not be going back to the norm that we used to know even after this circuit breaker/lockdown period.
Here in Singapore, construction work will only resume gradually, with 5% of the construction workforce on very small number of critical infrastructure projects. Hotels have the intention to stop their morning buffet services and public events/road shows/festivals or anything of the sort will not be resuming anytime soon.
These are just some example of how we have to adapt to the new norm for the period to come. Almost every industry and sector are being impacted.

Video content is definitely a good way to get messages across to your audience, be it your customers or staff alike. However, like all businesses, the video production process will be affected by the changes from this period. Venues might restrict accessibility, there might be limitation on the numbers of people involved and/or many other possible regulation that might be put in place.
So what are the possible options that we can offer as a workaround for such situations?

Amidst this period, we have partnered with a professional AV team to provide a one-stop solution for any webinars and/or presentation requirements. With a fully equipped indoor recording and streaming studio, we are able to handle all your webinars and presentations needs. Be it a keynote speech, sharing of company message, panel discussion or any other requirements, we will be able to cater to them within our studio.

With a spectacular 9m by 3m full LED backdrop and staging, accompanied by professional audio, visual and broadcast equipment, we will be able to record and/or live stream your desired content to your audience, without them having to all gather in a single venue in order to have the ‘live’ experience.
The LED backdrop can have an endless possibilities when it comes to customisation. It can be used to display important slides/information or it can be used to simulate an outdoor environment, it is only limited by your creativity!

Planning for a multi-pax panel discussion session? No Problem! Our backdrop and staging have a span of 9 metres, which can easily fit in your group of panelist! Unlike the industry standard, we chose to break the norm. Our industry leading setup will provide an extraordinary experience that can translate to a more effective session.

Our studio definitely serve as an alternate venue to host your various talks and discussion. From staging to lighting and to the live streaming equipment, we can replicate the kind of effect that you can expect from a usual event space. A space specially designed to bring you the best possible live streaming experience and result.
Leave all the technical details to us. With the support of a team of professional AV technical personnel together with our team’s video expertise, we are here to help you create your desired video content.

Executing the Production with a Different Approach

Since may production require the filming team to be travelling down to the client location, with the many possible regulation that may restrict accessibility and limiting the capacity, some type of video content that used to be common may no longer be possible. However, we can always explore into using a different way to bring across your idea/content/product.
Instead of producing ‘on-site’ content, we are able to bring the shoot indoor in to our studio. Even for the F&B industry businesses, which often require freshly prepared ingredients, our studio will be able to cater to it. With the possibility to support basic cooking within our studio, we can bring the usually disruptive shooting process into our studio so it does not disrupt your business flow in this period.
For shoots that may not be possible to be brought into a studio, we will be looking to shorten the shooting duration in order to minimise the risk exposure for all involved parties. Targeting interior design firms and property agents, instead of the usual long hours of shoot to capture and showcase the design/property, we are able to provide 360 videos that can allow your audiences to have a good sense of the property and design. Unlike a typical video shoot that may take up to even a whole day, by doing quick 360 capture can significantly reduce the shooting duration. If a 360 video is not something suitable for your needs, in the post-production process, we will be able to consolidate the shots and made a video out of it.

Keeping the Filming Crew/Manpower at a Minimal

Some production require a big team of manpower while there are some that can be done with just a handful of manpower.
At LOPOL Productions, our crews are experienced in working in small team with each person taking on multiple roles. Unlike some major productions, there are some video content that can be achieved in a smaller scale. For the production of a talking head(interviews, testimonials and etc) video, our videographer/camera operator is able to manage not just the camera and lighting, he will be able to do the sound recording as well. With the necessary set of equipment that had been optimised through experience, our videographer/camera operator are able to deliver quality video footage even without the fanciest of gear. We do not compromise on quality. However, by reducing the necessary manpower, it will translate to a slight slowdown in work process.
Simple and straightforward video content geared towards social media usage or internal usage generally do not require a massive team as well. If you require an instructional, training video produced for a new safety/prevention process implemented in the office for this period, we will be able to create a basic video that gets the message across clearly and yet with minimal manpower.

If you require any of our service, please drop us an email or simply use the enquiry form that can be found on the Contact page. We will be able to provide further assistance and to clarify any questions that you may have!
